Among some of the original highlights, the top features of these homes included GE Appliances, Aristocraft Cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms, Armstrong hardwood floors and Peachtree insulated entrance doors. The homebuyers of their new build also had the option to add custom bay windows, fireplaces, skylights and whirlpool jets to name a few. All models were compromised of two-story 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with a two-car garage and fully finished basement. Each property sat on its own quarter acre plot of land. Ranging in square footage from about 2,600 square feet to 3,300 square feet homes, models started at a price point of $183,900 and went as high as $236,400. Today, these homes have increased greatly in value, with an average purchase price of $440,000 to $500,000. The proximity to major roadways, restaurants and nightlife as well as the highly rated school systems have all contributed to Ravenscliff’s desirability among home buyers and families.
