Country Farms is an established residential development in Evesham Township, dating back to 1979. The neighborhood was designed by Paparone Construction on a formerly open farmland plot. The homes were marketed as providing a "tranquil rustic country setting" to appeal to those seeking refuge from the city's hustle and bustle. Despite being located near Route 73, Route 295, and the New Jersey Turnpike, the area offers a peaceful environment that provides the best of both worlds.
The builders of Country Farms designed five distinct models: Springhouse, Millstone, Harvester, Farmstead, and Windhover II. Each model was a two-story, modernized colonial home with at least three bedrooms and one-and-a-half bathrooms.
The Springhouse model was the most affordable, listed at $55,900. For an additional $3,900, buyers could add a living room, and for $1,850, a fireplace. The priciest model was the Windhover II, starting at $70,900, a four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home with a two-car garage. All models had aluminum siding, insulated metal windows, a caloric dishwasher, garbage disposal, and a 30-inch free-standing range. At the time, central air conditioning was considered a luxury and was available for an extra $1,500.
